Garrick Meitzner

Prior to starting a Florida refrigeration program for DHR in 2004, Garrick Meitzner began his refrigeration and HVAC career in 1988 at SunBelt Equipment Sales. While at Sunbelt he worked his way up from the warehouse helper in Tampa to the Branch manager position in Fort Myers Florida. While in Fort Myers, Sunbelt became National Refrigeration Services and Garrick continued in the same job role. In 2002 the Hussmann Corporation at the direction of its parent company Ingersoll/Rand purchased NRS and Garrick was transferred to Tampa where he became the Florida Regional Construction Manager, a role he stayed in until joining DHR Mechanical Services. During his tenure with Sunbelt equipment Sales and NRS he installed and serviced many of Florida’s and the nation’s leading supermarkets and convenient store chains as well as cold storage and processing facilities. During this time Garrick learned and refined his management, sales and customer service skills. Garrick became a front runner in the QIP and TQM processes making their way into the refrigeration and HVAC industry and uses these processes in all aspects of his operations to this day. In 2004 he left Hussmann and Joined Shumate Mechanical Services Orland Inc. and spearheaded their initiative to start a branch offering refrigeration, EMS, and HVAC in Florida. This endeavor and a similar one in Georgia proved to be successful to the point that to differentiate themselves Shumate Mechanical Orland changed their name to DHR Mechanical Services which we remain to this day.
Jerrad Sigwart
Service Manager, Supermarkets, Cold Storage
Our service manager is Jerrad Sigwart has over 15 years in the refrigeration and HVAC industry. Jerrad started his career in the industry with Florida Central Refrigeration and later with such companies as Taylor Freezer Sales, and LINC Services. He then spent three years working in Afghanistan for the DOD taking care of the HVAC/R for the forward operating bases and main bases. In this task, besides installing and servicing equipment he also was responsible for training the Afghanistan nationals to service the HVAC/R equipment. After returning from overseas he began working with DHR, first as a tech and then working his way up to become a premier hands on Service Manager. Jerrad’s vast knowledge of refrigeration and energy management systems, from some of the earliest types to the newest and most advanced insures that our client’s needs and expectations are always met. He makes sure your equipment is running at peak performance.
Javier Mujica
Northern Florida Construction Manager, Supermarkets, Cold Storage
Our Northern Florida Construction Manager is Javier Mujica. Javier joined the DHR team in 2005 after returning to the United States from overseas and is another homegrown DHR manager. He has worked his way from an apprentice pipe fitter to becoming a extremely knowledgeable and productive Construction Managers at DHR. Javier is very experienced with the installation of new and remodel refrigeration systems including secondary systems such as glycol and CO2. His dedication to our clients and other DHR associates sets the example for excellence and he has been instrumental to DHR’s success, customer satisfaction and continued growth.
Jose Balda
Southern Florida Construction Manager, Supermarkets, Cold Storage
Our Southern Florida Construction Manager is Jose Balda. Jose Joined the DHR team in 2004 as one of its founding associates. He has worked his way from an apprentice duct mechanic and pipe fitter to becoming one of the most productive associates within the DHR Corporation. His experience and expertise is extremely varied, ranging from multifamily high rises and class “A” office buildings to supermarket and industrial refrigeration installations. Jose is as comfortable and productive scheduling and overseeing a simple roof top air conditioning unit change out as he is with the most sophisticated supermarket refrigeration systems being built today. His dedication to our clients is non-wavering regardless of how small or large their projects are, and has been instrumental to DHR’s success, customer satisfaction and continued growth.
Carrie Meitzner
Office Manager, Supermarkets, Cold Storage
Our Office Manager is Carrie Meitzner. Carrie started her career in 1997 working for National Refrigeration Services in Fort Myers as a service dispatcher. After a break in her career she returned to the newly Formed DHR Refrigeration branch in Tampa in 2004. Her initial involvement started as an administrative assistant but quickly grew through her hard work and dedication. She is now responsible for the support, coordination and implementation of all administrative functions; including customer service, dispatch, accounting and human resources for the Tampa Office. Carrie and her administrative team are instrumental in our goal to continually exceed our clients expectations and she continually achieves this by running an extremely efficient office that has set the standard for clear and precise invoicing, detailed service dispatching procedures increasing response times to our clients and a Human Resource department aimed at keeping our associates safe and happy as part of the DHR family.
